Best singer of the last 30 years
🚨Sad old man rant alert🚨 Bought Mare Vitalis when it came out in 2000, one of the first CDs I bought when I moved to my new town. I loved this song but only a few years back, fuelled by nostalgia and loneliness, when it really started hitting me like no other song ever did in my entire life. I grew up by the sea, and left to live in a big city in my early 20’s. Every line in the song hits home. Every. Line. It's unbelievably autobiographical for me. It saddens me, 24 years later, that the ‘’trade’’ I made was wrong. I miss everyone, the sea, the beach, the warm salt air, the sunsets, the fires, and the fair in the park by the sea 💔 But as long as my memory works, they are never gone.
Flynn was a very young & inexperienced actor when he was signed for Captain Blood. He greatly improved as the filming progressed. Warner Brothers was impressed enough to reshoot some of Errol’s first filmed scenes because of his improvement
If you never saw them live back in the day - I am so sorry. They were at their peak!!
2024 in tha stillness of time I was here
GUARDS ARE LOOKING FOR A SUSPICIOUS CLONE. "Eh sir, wat does clown loak liek?" "Clone! Clone!" "Eh?"
Both of my Dads older brothers fought in WWII but Dad wasn’t accepted, even though he wanted to go. He always said it was because he had flat feet but I think it can’t help but wonder if it was due to the Sullivan Act. Dad felt so guilty, even though his brothers eventually returned home. RIP to the Sullivan boys and all others who have died fighting for our freedom. 😢🇺🇸
Excellent! Thank you!
I love Automaton 2017 so much, and I love Rob Harris and Paul Terner as guitarist/bassist - they are super tight and funky and creative and special. But damn! That 90s stuff is also cool and super fresh as well )) My favourite band of all times! Hope for the new album.

Words that resonate, makes a middle aged man very happy.Beautiful music
Read Flynn’s biography……acting was the least most exciting thing he ever did….the heavy drinking shorten his adventures and he died at 50…. But wow what a youth
Yo Ho, me hearties! Wait til he comes up against Captain Jack.
It's amazing how the captain of the ship is a handsome, clean shaven young man, and all the crew are grubby looking slobs. I guess the captain is the only one on board with his own shaver, hair dresser, and costume maker. Ah yes, those were the days when movies were swash buckling, adventures filled with realistic scenery, and mannerisms.
Ha...a leading man's perks?
Think Flynn couldn't act? Nicely played scene and then some.
Olivia endearingly lays it on with a trowel in this scene, showing she can be funny and sexy at the same time. That kiss!
Charles Laughton and Elsa Lanchester! They were actually married! Yup The Hunchback of Notre Dame was married to the Bride of Frankenstein!
de Havilland here is, I believe, only 19.
A mere child.
Best pirate movie ever made. As to the sfx, remember the year....
La verdad es lo que el Alma siente Sin stuard ZENDER, un estilo tremendo no suena igual .
Thank you for this short but beautiful story. Both were fabulous actors. Their movies never disappointed me.
True today as it was then . Some things don’t change at all, sadly.
YO HO HO AND A BOTTLE OF RUM.
She's a good actress.
Amusing. I've never seen the whole movie so never knew that's how it ended.
Long live Una O’Connor! Loved her ever since she shrieked at seeing The Invisible Man, through her eccentric maid in The Barretts of Wimpole Street, her forlorn cousin in David Copperfield and so many other memorable characterizations!
Billy Wilder adapting Agatha Christie for the big screen; Masterful.
Helluva noose!
He had one character in his movies and he played him to perfection.
No, he was quite believable in Objective Burma and They Died With Their Boots On.
@@formwiz7096 Yes, Lionel Atwill did play one character, a villain, to perfection.
# 0:19 boy, did I ever step in it this time.
From the days of rip-roarin', swash buckling adventures. Great stuff.
I hadn't realised his acting was so wooden.
Only his 2nd picture; first real Hollywood one. And...1935.
I love how the clouds don’t move!
" I SAY WE LET HIM GO " . Then Flynn does the tequila dance..

“Captain Blood” is one of Errol Flynn’s best swashbucklers. Easily superior to the special effects slop we get from Disney today. The effeminate, mascara laden Depp is a sorry excuse for a pirate.
Tyrone Power was a pretty good pirate, too
@@donnarichardson7214 Yes. He played in “The Black Swan”. Other good ones: “The Captain from Castile”, “Blood and Sand” and “Nightmare Alley”. Tyrone was an excellent swordsman like Errol. And also lived hard like Errol. Died at 44.
Oh yeah. I hope
